Homeserver
The maf.chat homeserver demo runs the open source Synapse implementation. Synapse can be used with very minimal hardware. For instance, this homeserver is running as just one of many services on this backroom data center!
The maf.chat homeserver demo is running in a virtual machine with 4G ram. The VM runs in a home cloud server cluster. The data center is built from used and often discarded equipment.
